Iowa 13-8 (4-8) Rest of the way predictions

Looking at what's left.. 1-9 or 0-10 to close it out would not shock me.
I'm not one of those "Iowa won't win a game the rest of the year" doomsday guys, but I really do struggle to find wins on that schedule.
Fran Ball. The guy's legacy is going to be trash for the way he finished up at Iowa.
With Freeman out, this Iowa team could be heading for the worst team in B1G for February/March.
Freeman was far from perfect, but he was critical to them having a chance. Even getting a couple more wins looks like a tall order.
All I know is this sucks. I remember growing up where it was damn near a guarantee that Iowa would be in the tournament under Dr. Tom and win a game! Now we're struggling to make the conference tournament. It is truly unacceptable.
1979-89 Iowa made 10 of 11 NCAA tournaments. Always competitive. Ravelings recruits gone and Dr. Tom made it 6 of his final 10 years. Missed out 3 of his final 6 years.
Yup. It was like clockwork growing up. It wasn’t if Iowa was in the dance or not, the issue was hopefully the first round game wasn’t played in the middle of the school day
Gonna be tough now without Owen.

All I know is that I'm tired of Iowa MBB being irrelevant. It really sucks. March Madness is a great time, and it's no fun without Iowa.

I think we beat Washington at home. Not sure who else we beat. Would have to catch a team like Rutgers napping. Otherwise this will be an epic slide.
There was a time where Carver-Hawkeye rocked every game. It was sold out, loud. If you didn’t have season tickets you had to know someone who’d sell you one. Hardest ticket to get in the state of Iowa.
I think we might beat Washington with our overwhelming home court advantage.

I said I was guessing a 3-6 finish.
* Home games vs Oregon & Washington are 2 good candidates.
* We will be very motived on Sat at home vs Wisconsin.
* At Rutgers and at Northwestern are possibilities as well.
No game outcome would surprise me with the way this season is going.

Winning at Maryland or at Illinois (5th and 1st in the nation respectively in rebounding) would be utterly shocking to me.
That's the beauty of sports. You play the game and see what happens. Sometimes the favorite has an off day/night.
True but as you know not going to happen. But I will give the young men credit for playing hard it is not their fault they have a lousy coach.
At this point, I see one more win and that would be at home against Washington. The rest are Ls bringing our final record to 14-17. Thank gawd we padded our win total early against the usual cadre of bunnies. Can you imagine what kind of crowds we're going to draw the rest of the way?
