I don't disagree. Sudfeld extends plays against Iowa's zone coverage giving receiver time to find space and settle down. I want to see Iowa man up and bring five (especially on third down) to keep him from getting comfortable. After looking at your remaining schedule, IMHO the team you might want to be nervous about (and many will probably disagree) is Indiana at their place. They gave OSU (a few week ago) everything it could handle and their MSU score from yesterday is very misleading - it was a close game well into the 2nd half. Indiana can definitely put up some points.
They have a couple banged up OL, but that seems high to me.
Agreed. Many on this board have been saying exactly that for the last couple of weeks. After looking at your remaining schedule, IMHO the team you might want to be nervous about (and many will probably disagree) is Indiana at their place. Should I get my bet down right away??I don't know what others think, but I would.......
Wait until later in the week and see which way the line moves.
No. Wait until later in the week and see which way the line moves.Should I get my bet down right away??

Again. 2 weeks ago Indiana gave up 55 points to RUTGERS, and yesterday gave up 52 points. Game, set and match to the Iowa Hawkeyes. Iowa is a complete team, Indiana is half of a team.
Yeah but we also thought the Iowa- jnw was gonna be like at 10-6 game. So I'm not as convinced Iowa won't win by 16+Maryland's QB could give us fits if we don't get on them early. -16 is way too high. I would take Maryland against the spread.
Yeah just like Northwestern and North Texas right?Easy money....take Maryland and the points
It depends how focused the Hawks are, both is prep for the game AND when playing in the game. If a sharp Hawk squad does their job and hog-ties the Maryland running game ... then they have to rely upon their passing game to win the game. If the Hawks continue to play solid coverage ... Maryland has proven to essentially be good for around 2 INTs a game.Maryland's QB could give us fits if we don't get on them early. -16 is way too high. I would take Maryland against the spread.
I'll summarize the game for you:Maryland seemed to be in shambles but Locksley has apparently begun to push the right buttons rightaway. I didn't watch them against PSU but the stats suggest that it was a close hard-fought game. Clearly Maryland isn't demoralized about their midseason coaching change. On a somewhat related note-- the other interim coach, Cubit, who came into Kinnick also put a solid team on the field.

I've been to every Iowa game at Bloomington, since I moved to Nashville in 2000, and only once, did Iowa win, with comfort, and that was 2008.
Their style of play, no matter who the coach is, has given us fits, since 1998.
Iowa fans are WELL AWARE of the match-up at Indiana.
We don't need a Lloyd Christmas, "We've landed on the moon" moment.
