Good weekend to be in Orlando if you like Hawkeye spring sports - Baseball & Softball in town. I'll be taking in the baseball game Saturday morning and watching a softball double-header in the afternoon.

Yes, Iowa should be able to provide video streaming from 2,000 miles away from Kissimmee, Fla., to show baseball games that air during the middle of the day.

It’s the first game of the year for Christ sakes. With that said Heller will not be happy, Iowa gave up a TON of free bases and paid for it.

There is no way to know this. Literally the first day the Iowa team has been outside in all of 2019 is when they had a short practice yesterday after arriving from Iowa City. Teams can get in their work inside, but there is a difference in stepping on the field, on a real mound (not the fake mounds teams have to use indoors), playing fly balls, etc. Not surprised in the least Iowa looked like they hadn't been outside once yet this year.

If they end up losing all 3 this weekend, yes that would be bad. But no sense in going there yet.

From what I’ve heard from Heller interviews. The Hawks do have good weekend starters. Check. As far as bats, the hawks don’t have a 4 or 5 guy. But there is no weakness from 1 to 9 like in all of the years he’s been here. Said fielding will be shaky to start but they have great gloves.
