Anyone know what the deal with Shimp is? Was one of the top relievers last year and this year he has had some issues and didn’t travel to the series this weekend.
There are some small pockets. Maybe 100 or 200 Hawk fans. Stadium was about 40% full for the first game. Looks like about 30% now. Weather was gorgeous for first game. Starting to get a bit chilly. When sun goes down it’s gonna get cold.
No inside knowledge but his stuff hasn’t been there this year...a sophomore slump. More common in baseball than other sports.

Hey hawkeye, was informed we are getting a full refund on tix to tomorrow's canceled game in 3-5 business days. Yeehaw! If weather is decent and roads are good we may drive to watch game 3 Sunday and just buy GA tix. Hopefully it'll still be played.

T6. Hawks only 3 hits but like 4 line outs so they’re tagging the ball well. Only 2 K’s. Hopefully third time around is a charm.

I stated this before: I have a niece in town Apr 30 and May 1. We PLAN on going to a Twins game. However, because of the weather we have had this spring, we won't be buying tickets until the day of the game. That time of year the high is supposed to be 65, the low 47. This year we have been up to 20 degrees below normal. brrrrrr....The Twins already have had several games postponed. Just a crazy bad year weather wise for baseball.

The second game featured two different strike zones and the guy manning 1st base was blind. Called Boe out when he was safe and a pure anticipation call. Called Cropley out in the 9th, when the Nebby guy foot left the bag.

Game 3 is a must because this weekend the top 8 potentially can separate themselves form the rest of the B1G especially with Minnesota/Michigan the next two weeks for Iowa. If Iowa drops game three we are 6-5 in the B1G and right on the cusp of the B1G tournament.
Iowa is going to have a chance to build their RPI even with a loss. Road games vs Minnesota, home vs Michigan, and vs Okie State can build the RPI back up.
You know what, screw this weather. Sunday's game cancelled so all we get is a split. I hear what Heller is saying about moving the season back a month but how likely is this type of weather to happen in April every year
