Everyone has an expiration date. If he couldn’t get Iowa out of the second round with Garza and Keegan on his roster. It just isn’t going to happen. I like Fran and his passion as well. But it appears he’s lost that too.

He wanted to continue coaching Iowa. Iowa refused to allow him. That’s fired.

Most programs don’t keep a coach for 15 years or more unless they’ve won some conferences and/or played past the first weekend in the tournament a few times.
