What I read was that he actually moved into a bigger house which didn't make much sense. Also how big was that last second prayer by Josh against northwestern, and the overtime win against Nebraska. Those two games are the only thing keeping this team alive.
I did some amateur internet sleuthing by simply googling his name. Pretty deep dive. It looks like Fran did indeed sell his old house in June and they purchased a new one located in Iowa City. It does appear to be a larger home. I can’t believe the two high profile coaches don’t use trusts or LLCs to buy property. That’s wild.

I am not supporting this team in any way moving forward. Do you not realize how bad the last 3 road games have been? Unacceptable doesn’t come close to describing the level of effort put forward by the players on defense and rebounding. I’m just done. Let it all burn to the ground.

You just said the word that is synonymous with Iowa sports: mediocrity. We don't accept it. We don't tolerate it. We revel in it. It is the very expectation of the fan base. I can't think of another place on Earth where people cheer when the punter trots on the field. At least the fans have largely turned their backs on Fran. The empty seats will be his demise.

Few remember how Iowa was forced to demolish CHA, and drop the basketball program altogether because THREE seasons of Hitler had made it the worst power five basketball program in the history of the sport. By far. Not even close. The Chernobyl of college sports programs -- no one, and I mean no one could go near it for at least 200 years.
It's not fair to ask anyone to turn a situation like that around in a mere decade and a half. That's just crazy. We have a delusional fan base with a very short memory.
