Attended the game. No cursing, just watched it.

After the end of game handshakes, Fran bolted for the locker room.

My respectful comment to him was “15 years is enough. It’s over. Step aside.” He heard it, turned his head and went faster towards the locker room door.

Yeah, the new owner (who used to live next to BF) contacted my work for an estimate, and we use the assessor’s site for measurements, verifying info, etc. I looked at the previous sales and sure enough, it was the place Fran built back in 16/17.

I’m not sure where he’s living now though.

What I read was that he actually moved into a bigger house which didn't make much sense. Also how big was that last second prayer by Josh against northwestern, and the overtime win against Nebraska. Those two games are the only thing keeping this team alive.

I did some amateur internet sleuthing by simply googling his name. Pretty deep dive. It looks like Fran did indeed sell his old house in June and they purchased a new one located in Iowa City. It does appear to be a larger home. I can’t believe the two high profile coaches don’t use trusts or LLCs to buy property. That’s wild.

Incredibly immature to want Iowa to lose.

Doesn't matter if it were 100% justified for Fran to get fired. There's a well-paid AD that's capable of making that decision. And if it were to take Iowa getting curb-stomped the rest of the season (which won't happen), then maybe it's not all that clear cut of a decision at this point.

These players deserve your support and deserve every bit of success they can get.

This isn't pro sports. Tank jobs are never a good idea in college, and it's hard not to vomit at the idea of tanking in pro sports.

I am not supporting this team in any way moving forward. Do you not realize how bad the last 3 road games have been? Unacceptable doesn’t come close to describing the level of effort put forward by the players on defense and rebounding. I’m just done. Let it all burn to the ground.

This is Fran ball of the last several years taken to its Franniest.
They'll still win some games at home.
