True, but she was not a full time starter, was a freshman and VS went 7-16 last season. So, clear transfer advantage to both Hinton and Rock Valley.

The announcers said that both Hinton and Rock Valley basically remade their teams with transfers. With 2A Rock Valley bringing in a 1,000 point career scorer out of 5A Sioux City East.

Yep, just double checked. 2A Rock Valley added the second and third leading scorers from a 5A Sioux City East team that went 18-6 last season.

They both played in the Boy’s tournament last year,right?

Mt Vernon is just that good, and I don't see a 3A team staying within 15 points.
The school is top shelf in all sports and gets a few moveins every year.

I always thought Solon was better in most sports than Mt. Vernon. But then again, I haven't paid attention to that in quite a while.

Close, so far the girls that have played for RV are Brynlie, Haevyn, Hudsyn, Kavri, Miylie, Caydence and Tielyr. Kavri Van Kekerix I would assume to be the sister of Iowa FB player Landyn.

The CIML has a lot more population than the other 5A schools in girls……and Im betting for the most part newer facilities and bigger budgets…..these ‘burbs around DSM have income for the most part.

Of note...The old girl's HC at WDM Valley, who won two titles there, is now the HC at Norwalk and has them in the semis.
He's got the highest scoring freshman in the State this season.
