I’d be fine if they added something between 197 and HWT.

I personally would like 12 weights. More wrestling is always a good thing. Add a 118 and 220. I feel a lot of guys get left out because they can't fill 125 and there are way to many tweeners from 197- HVY
Definitely need a 220# class in college.

Not many wrestlers get put on their back by Avila and survive. That was guts to not give up the fall and then that 3rd Per ride was amazing.

Avila definitely gassed. Downey never gave up and gave it all he had there in the 3rd and Overtime. Gritty performance indeed
Got to be tough loss for Avila but he thought he could just ride out the 3rd on bottom and Downy having nothing to do with that. Indy kid got alot of fight in him.

I never really trust Ironside to know what he's talking about on the little details.
The injury time at the end with 1 second left was kind of immature imo. You lost get of the mat.
Yeah, somebody got in his ear and told him. Was funny he said Downey's dad, Pat grew up in his area and so on. Whoops!
Ironside is just great when it comes to calling the action but you can tell he doesn't know a lot of these kids. At least he's not just rambling on like Gable did when he was covering the state finals.
You know that he had a pretty serious knee injury in December…. Wrestling his 7th match since…. Let alone he knew he just lost the chance of being the 32nd 4 timer…. Maybe cut the kid some slack

Probably was a fall, but pretty ballsy of the ref to actually make that call in the finals....
That was my thought also. I was shocked they called that in the finals, but I thought it was the right call.
He made the correct call, so not really ballsy. Just doing his job. I applaud him for it.

Seriously, kudos to Downey. A really gutsy performance. Avila deserved to lose that one--he thought he had it won a little too early. Gotta earn it.

Yes he is! Definitely a wild human. He has that extra go go gear the rest of us don't have. I haven't seen him in awhile but I'm guessing he is still running around like a mad man cracking jokes and heads.
