I'm still keeping my eye out for the following two important factors:
- Good contain by the DEs: We really haven't seen it yet this year. QBs have been able to squirm out and convert on 3rd down. Also, RBs have gotten near the edge too easily sometimes.
- Good third down O and the ability to sustain drives: We really haven't seen it yet this year. Part of it may be attributable to the increased explosiveness of the O. However, against better teams ... or, at least ones with good offenses ... it will be nice to be able to play "keep away" from them. An O that can possess the ball and score can do wonders in that regard.
