I feel bad for first time viewers, this isn't exactly a "showcase" of anything.
This is too harsh. He has weapons, they weren’t put to work.
And what was the issue the first 2 periods? The first 5 matches of the year? He has NO offense...that's the issue.
I'd rather see Rathjen go than see that.
If you want to guarantee a dual loss then that's what you do.
VV isn't the answer, but wanting a forfeit is beyond being over dramatic.
What are they? I'm honestly asking. I have only seen the Cal Baptist and this dual...but he hasn't been lighting the world on fire offensively. He rode the kid from Cal Baptist forever...but you have to get on top for that to work.
What’s Voinovich’s injury? He wasn’t amazing or anything at OSU, but he’s looked horrible here so far.

Yeah I had a bad feeling going into this one, and we haven’t done anything to make me feel better about it. Their upper weights are a lot better than ours, at least on paper.
Taking a bad shot, giving up a major (or even a fall) and costing the team even more points? And then everyone raggin on you anyway for not only having no offense but for making a dumb decision, too?
Just inexcusable to have our top wrestlers this unprepared. That’s coaching

It looks like TNT have gone to the Kirk Ferentz philosophy of coaching. See if we can get a lead and just sit on it. Don't dare try to score any extra points. No need to ever do that. Do barely enough on offense to get a lead and hope and pray the defense doesn't let you down.

i think he got there before the clock hit zero but now that they’ve reinstated reaction time, i don’t know how you can give a takedown with a few tenths of a second at most.
Have you watched Voinivich in the first 2 matches?
He looked like a floating turd. Motionless. It showed today. He has no action.
This is an Iowa squad like we've not seen in awhile. Cassioppi in the lineup would give me hope in the dual.
But, I just don't see Iowa winning. 133 was the balance tipper for me.

Yikes. So far it's a showcase of everything that has been wrong with Iowa for the past decade. Lack of offense. Lack of ability to finish. Lack of urgency. One first-period TD so far. Our #1 and #2 both within a split second of losing. Whew.
