Kind of a twofer for Trump here. He dirtied up something with bipartisan support, and he fired about if veterans. Anecdotally I’ve been amazed at the number of veterans I’ve chatted up who work as rangers and frontline staff at national parks.

Sucks for him but he’s also working in a field where it’s easy to terminate someone. He should have known that as he worked seasonal for many years and was let go from a similar job in 2020 due to covid layoffs.
Not everyone gets to work their dream job. Sometimes you need to find a steady job that can support your family. It’s a job, not Fun-time where I also get paid.

Jobs like his require plenty of seasonal work prior to having enough experience for a full time position. I knew quite a few who wanted to be Iowa Natural Rescources Law Enforcement, and only one who put in the extra work. All the others are town cops or failed town cops as of 20 years later.

Devil is in the details often much more than the rest of us in different industries can appreciate.
