Big 12 is an awful conference this year.

Oklahoma only loss to Texas.

Iowa only loss to top 4 MSU.

Stanford has two losses one to Northwestern who Iowa smacked by 30 points. Losses should matter people. This ain't gymnastics.

I agree that Iowa and Ohio State have a good argument for being the 4th team in the playoff over Oklahoma. Especially Iowa. They played one more game and lost to the 5th ranked team as opposed to losing to Texas. OU also beat teams that were using either 2nd or 3rd string QBs.

They may be the champs of their conference but they did not play in a championship. I think makes a difference to some people.

While you're right, I'm fine knowing that we got beat by a team that is in the playoff. IMO, if you lose to a team in the playoff, you already had a chance at the playoff, and you lost. We lost, we're out, and I'm ok with that.

Just as I'm ok with it now, I'll be irritated when LSU loses to Bama some year and gets in the playoff with Bama anyway. I'll save my anger for then.

I agree that Iowa has an argument to be in and I honestly think objectively their resume is better than both Oklahoma and the most over rated team Alabama......however, I think they got it right because conference champions should be the #1 factor.....we had our opportunity but came up a few inches/seconds short....it stings pretty bad, but boy what a great game!

If the objective is to get the 4 best teams, conference championships should be a factor but shouldn't determine things.

nah, I am not complaining. Iowa lost and at that point they stopped controlling their own destiny. The game was certainly a quality loss but you cannot expect to lose the conference championship game and get in the playoff. Hawks had a great season and it is FREAKING AWESOME they will be in the Rose Bowl

Oklahoma is a bigger fraud than Clemson. Neither of those teams are better than a Michigan.

OU played the same number of conference games as us (9) and have four wins over top 25 teams to our one. Yes, their loss was a much worse loss than our loss, but with their better wins I think they have better resume than us.
