Iowa State and Nebraska

Since they both need a game, they should consider a one time scheduling of a game. Both teams depending on the season outcome might need the additional win, and if ISU has a good season it could be a great game for Nebbie. Just trying to help. LOL
That's been mentioned on CR. A lot of us miss playing the shuckers.

To lazy to check the schedules, but if they don’t share a bye week why not schedule a game during the BIG championship week. Flip a coin for home field. Would be a financial and PR windfall for both schools.

Nebraska fans in a nutshell. Didn't capture it but basically saying they would be stupid to schedule a game against a team they recognize is likely better than them this year, but if ISU beat them, it would be an upset.

So, why are you telling Iowa fans if your just trying to help?

I think what is most likely to happen if we want to play 12 games: New Mexico State plays Liberty twice (why), and Akron and NMSU have the same bye, us and Liberty do also. We could buy out the second liberty game and then play them on october 27

Were their games the only two that got cancelled nationwide?

Are FCS schools allowed to play 12 regular season games? They generally only play 11, right?

In all honesty, I think it would be a great football game. Nebraska would be pumped up because there is no way in hell that they want to lose to ISU, and ISU would be pumped up because it's Nebraska. Sorry, I am showing to much respect for those schools, but I have mentioned before in the past that I did attend ISU for one year, so I have a very very........did I say very very small soft spot in my heart for them. :( But of it makes a difference, I did wear my Hawkeye clothing to class when I was a student there. ;)

Both teams want to try to schedule a patsy so they get an easy win. The last thing either one of those teams wants is to play a team that they might lose to. It's a game that makes the most sense both location wise and interest wise. That is exactly why it will not happen. They are both too pussy!!!

Location-wise may be a problem. Both would want it to be a home game.

As someone else said, neither team is going to play anyone with a puncher's chance of beating them. They both desperately need an easy win to get close to bowl eligible.
