Its ridiculous...Iowa could be a perennial power in basketball...and has been at times in its history. Its as simple as having the right coach...a coach that "fits" your program...and an Athletic Department that backs him. It ain't rocket sense...there's a good number of VERY good coaches out there who could be the next Lute Olson. But, for some reason, Iowa accepts the mediocrity that is Fran McCaffrey. Its crazy.
