Tough way to lose late in Arizona ... this shot ties the game in regulation and ISU loses in OT.
Up 3 with 2.2 seconds left….maybe you should. Then again, what are the odds of hitting that shot?
That on hurt. But what can you do...sometimes the ball takes crazy bounces. Iowa State was on the road at one of the toughest venues in college basketball...really earned the win...but congrats to the Wildcats for stealing one back. AZ is a rapidly improving team and will do very well in the tournament. If Caleb Love is playing well, they are REALLY tough to beat.
Yes...if you foul while the kid is throwing up a 3/4 court shot...the guy gets 3 free throws. If you manage to foul him just before he goes into the shooting motion...he gets two free throws...and likely makes the first with a deliberate miss on the 2nd and a chance for a rebound tip in to tie. The odds say let 'em launch from 75 feet.
Situation like that I would not foul.

Every team goes through a midseason swoon but their offense is trash the last few games. Fortunately for them, the schedule eases up for a few games before they go to Houston.
Huh, that’s weird. ESPN app said there was under a minute left and they had 33 points when I checked the score. Now it says 5 minutes left and they have 45 points. I’m not watching, obviously.
