ISU can't rebound on the offensive end and Naz Long has chucked up 2 three point attempts...lucky they are only down by 3 so far.
I anticipate this to be about a 12 point Purdue lead late in the game and then Thomas makes an unreal 3 and then ISU goes on a 15-0 run to win. Because that's just how it works.
If Purdue keeps trying to play at ISUs preferred tempo, this is a disaster in the making. ISU doesn't have the ability to cleanly defend the post but Purdue is stupidly falling right into the trap here - playing fast and mostly from the outside.
Purdue clearly has the advantage down low but they are throwing up some absolute bricks right now and have looked like mental midgets at times.
Iowa State is capable of getting hot and going on a major run at any time. For Iowa State, it's about speeding Purdue up and forcing them to play a helter skelter game. For Purdue, it's about pounding Iowa State down low and working the ball out to open 3 point shooters. And keep Iowa State runs to a minimum.

Exactly. They turn this into a half court game they should win easily.
That's the thing about Iowa State they have so many offensive weapons. Thomas will cool off then Long, Burton, or Morris is likely to go off. The Big XII should feel fortunate all four of those guys are done after this year.
