Iowa trucking company tied to immigrant smuggling is shut down by feds.

Several months ago 8 illegal immigrants died in San Antonio stuffed inside a tractor trailer. The company that employed the driver has been shut down due to unsatisfactory safety records.
It will be open in a week under a different name. The owner has faced action for poor safety practices and log violations over the years.

Translation = suspiciously missing documents in the company files, regarding driver ferrying dead illegals. Feds shut you down but can't charge you.....yet. I'm sure the driver will eventually spill the beans and the trucking company owner will be charged. We'll see.
I seem to recall someone here was defending the company and trying to lay all the blame at the feet of a "rogue independent contractor". Who was that? Anyone recall?
