We had it won 1st... then blew it, then Neb blew it, before we blew it again..... ugh
Yes, but they never should have had the ball. We started our offense way too soon. For that exact reason.
Last 2 minutes of regulation were awful. 4 straight possessions of dribbling in place. I don't think iowa shit a freethrow the last 13 minutes of gameplay.
Jok's weird 3/4 court pass turned into turnover turned into him getting knocked out of the game turned into no timeout called to set up a shot was a very bizarre sequence of events.

He carried us in the first half and was trying to beat the defense back on the last play. Wasn't strong with the ball.

Fran never uses timeouts why do fans still bring that up or will never change.

It gets brought up because it has consistently not worked his entire time at Iowa.
When iowa needs to score the last basket to win or tie it never works.
The overwhelming majority of other coaches call TOs in that situation and at least some of the time get a good shot while Iowa almost never gets a good shot at the end of games with Frans strategy.
If players need a timeout to reset or focus on what they want to do,they need to call it. The players need to make that choice and I believe these players will get to that point, otherwise I assume they know what they want to do and will execute it
