Results over the past decade:
'05: 27-28 NW
'06: 7-21 NW
'07: 28-17 Iowa
'08: 17-22 NW
'09: 10-17 NW
'10: 17-21 NW
'11: 41-31 Iowa
'12: 17-28 NW
'13: 17-10 Iowa
'14: 48-7 Iowa
I'd throw out the '06 and '14 results because those marked years when Iowa and Northwestern were, respectively, MASH units. Each team essentially "lost the will" to fight in those games.
Every other year has been a dogfight of a game. These two programs know each other intimately well - and neither team is entering the game willing to concede a thing. Both teams feature high quality defenses. Northwestern is young on O, while Iowa is "dinged" on O.
Both team will be very motivated! Should be a great game!
