While not very tactful, Brands isn't wrong. He definitely jumped the start. Not really difficult to see?!
While I agree, Gabe needs to finish a takedown or two early and that crap doesn't work anymore. He looks rock solid for a freshman imo (Gabe).
FYI and FWIW, this guy isn’t a serious poster and would be best for all to ignore him going forward. Thanks in advance to those who do.

Ref was absolutely awful…. A few of those stalemates were ridiculous.
Teemer has to hold center better against PSU next week. Refs will not hesitate to call stalling on him especially at Penn State.
He can give up stalls when he's blasting guys to the mat 3-4 times per match

I’ve been going to Iowa wrestling duals f35 years and I think those two shots from Teemer were as explosive and quick as I’ve ever seen!!! I’m not sure how many guys could stop that if he would fire off five or six of those per match!
Why does that seem crazy? It is well established that Feldman is a small HWT. He’s thicker than Ben but Ben has several inches on him, has to be 3-4.
And Feldman was 5th in the country last year, once again refuting the “Ben isn’t big enough!” crap.
Yup. He was the guy who said it was Brands’ fault the website was wrong. Might be the stupidest point anyone has tried to make on here which is really something when IRONBIRD and vhs are both things.
In his interview he said it was his first live go since the injury and needs to get back into shape.
He must have been watching a different match lol. Teemer looked incredible given the nature of his injury and length of time out imho.

It goes back to my earlier point. These are highly successful 5th and 6th year guys. This is their style. We recruited them because they were successful with it. No one is going to suddenly change it. Lol
Teemer, Parco, and Buchanan are ridiculously athletic. That is why they can come out on top in close matches. They can flip a switch and take almost anyone down when needed. That is why they are proven and successful. They are exactly what Iowa needs to recruit end of discussion.
Wonder if Cali and JT ever go live in the room. That would be something to see.
No disagreement there. I still get blown away by the level of talent with a lot of these guys. What surprised me with Teemer was his gas tank. Dam, being out that long with his injury, not an easy task to stay in wrestling shape imho. Wasn’t sure how he’d look today, but he looked dam good. Hope he gets his NC this year.

Funny how that works. Feldman is exactly the type guy he needs to beat to make the podium and BK has a lot he can improve on in the next 6 weeks. I would be shocked to see him lose to the Illini heavy at BG10s if they meet. Ben has a ton of upside and no downside currently.
