Fran could have called a few time outs there to stop their run

I feel like my dream of Iowa making the NIT is at risk.
Mulvey is at this time the best center Iowa has right now, why Brauns and Dembele sees minutes is the reason Fran needs to go. Eff Fran.
Fran and time outs are one of the great mysteries surrounding Iowa basketball.
Fran probably really proud of the effort. Doesn’t understand why fans want him out. He and the team are true professionals.

You are right Iowa is the worst team in the BIG. I will give the players credit for the most part they are playing hard. But this team is bad along with the McCaffery coaching. Starting Dembele is an example as he is the AOG on the men's team (slow, cannot jump, and really has no idea what he is doing).
NIT = joke. Only valuable if you have an extremely young team. Considering Freeman is leaving and possibly Dix. Does nothing for the program to pack 1,200 fans in Carver
Iowa is on pace to keep Rutgers under 100. I’d call that a win.
He must be a good practice player. I bet Iowa doesn't play defense when they practice either....
Every team we play has their best shooting night against us. Every game around the 7:00 minute mark our defense stops. Generally tied to substitutions.
If Fran had any integrity he would step down. But he doesn't, so he won't.

I did too. Iowa's offense is going to fade. Lead is going to get out of hand, Rutgers will take out the starters. (their coach is pretty classy).

I've said it after the last couple of games, why is Mulvey not getting most of the post minutes. He has good feet, good instincts, and he hustles. Not sure why they dont see his upside compared to Ladji at this point. Hopefully we try to attack the rim this second half and not settle for three pointers unless it was an inside out pass. Harding can take any of these defenders and create, we just have to give him the green light to do so. Just like he did in the non conference schedule.
