He's a black hole and it's not helping him. He needs to move the ball and stop shooting every time he gets the ball.
The one very important service this team provides is that for stretches (sometimes long ones) it makes the WNBA seem downright watchable.
McCaffery doing another superb job of game management. These teams are not very good on either end.
Anyone got the +/- on Owen Freeman in the first half?

In the end, it was ultimately Freeman's fault for picking up the T, but Fran really hamstrung his own team by sitting OF for the last 8 mintues of the half.
And not once was his help side defense even close to the right spot. You play defense as a team.
Don't have the number, but they made a good run after being down 7 with Owen on the bench. However, Iowa is going to need him in the 2nd half to win this game.
Its the wide open offense everyone thinks they can make a play no role players

I generally agree, but OF gets called for a lot of fouls, so probably the right call for him.
Aside from a few breakdowns vs that freaking guard that nobody can stay in front of I thought the Hawks played some of the best defense I've seen them play the last few years. Good rotations, contests and good closeouts against a good offensive team and turned them over 11 times in one half. Traore needs to replace Dembele in there to make it even better.

Agreed. Sometimes easier to hide a guard on defense than a rim protector. Your point is valid though.
