The Hays ranking, the # 2 post, but only # 71 in the top 100, is still an oddity. Compared to recent previous classes, and the next two future classes, the consensus view is that the 2025 post class is very weak. ESPN ranks only 3 posts in the '25 class in the top 100, none in the top 60. That is very unusual. If Layla Hays were in the '26 class, with 6 posts currently ranked in the top 50, you wonder if her ranking would be even lower.
