MBB makes a profit is because it receives $7.3 million from the Big Ten’s media rights contract/NCAA units. Its profit was $2.4 million.

As we’ve previously reported, leagues and the NCAA have practically given away WBB despite its high ratings. That will change this year with unit distribution.

I bet there weren’t many men’s programs across America that had better ticket sales than Iowa women last year.

Now that would be interesting to know.
