From the players, to the head coach, to the staff, to the team managers, ...that is a team that has completely given up.

That $3M dollar roster just bought them the worst loss in the entire history of their program.

Look at their roster. Euro guys who don't know Iowa from Belgium, and couldn't give a squirt of piss about some regional Midwest rivalry. Mercs who played at Arizona, Notre Dame, and some DII school in Indiana.... who don't know and couldn't care about this rivalry.

This team has been soundly whooped by double digits in their last 3 straight games, and Duke embarrassed them worse than they've ever been embarrassed in their 110+ year history, and did it in prime time at the most famous sports venue in the country.

There's blood in the water, boys. This Illinois team is set to get shredded.

It wouldn’t surprise me if the Hawks win. I think they win 2-3 out of their last 4, and 1-2 in the BTT. Fran’s job is saved and this board goes thru the same song and dance next season.

I did watch some of the Illiniois vs Duke in 1st half and Illinois was terrible. They do have a lot of soft white guys, so they are not
bad matchup. We have 4 conference games left---we have a decent chance of winning 1 out of 4 and get an upset vs somebody.

It's true that Iowa seldom plays well in Champaign, but it's also true that this Iowa team won't quit, and Illinois is ripe for the pickin'. Trends continue until they don't. Never expected to say this, but I think Iowa has a chance to win @ Illinois, and I hope they do. I hate a lot of things these days . . . yes, hate is the right word . . . and Illinois basketball is among them.

We barely beat the worst team in the conference at home yesterday. Iowa 2nd half a week ago at Maryland looked exactly the same as Illinois last night.

18-22 yr olds never know what you are going to get some nights from them.

Very probable you are setting yourself up for some massive disappointment here.

IF the game were in Carver, I'd give Iowa a shot, even if just a small one. But since its in Champaign, ILL will go crazy on shooting percentages, especially the normally bad shooters.

Illinois was simply terrible against USC in Champaign. A double digit loss.

Illinois was simply terrible against Maryland in Champaign. 20+ point loss.

Illinois was simply terrible against UCLA in Champaign. Gave up a 16 point lead with three minutes left, and won by 2. If the game was 30 seconds longer, they would have lost it.

Illinois was simply terrible against Michigan State in Champaign. Double digit loss. They didn't score in the last 8 minutes of the game. THE LAST EIGHT MINUTES OF THE GAME.

Illinois was simply terrible against Wisconsin. 20+ point laugher of a beat down.

...and yes...Illinois was simply more terrible than they have been in all of their program's history last night at MSG against Duke. Duke was up by 45 with about 2 min left in that game. lol

You have to start accepting what the evidence is telling you -- Illinois is simply terrible.

I wanted to like this prediction, but then I realized that we're not Duke.

Neither is Northwestern or Rutgers or Nebraska or USC but they all beat Illinois.

If we can go into the RAC and beat that shitty RU team, we can go into SFC and beat this shitty Illinois team.

I wouldn't have said this a month ago but this is the second easiest big ten game on our schedule. We should win this one, and I think we will.
