Bludgeoning on the glass again. Where's your nutsack
It is, but I bet I can find a few people who will be glad to help pack up and ship out to Indianapolis to be with the boys.would this be a bad time to ask for an RELB from Beth (raise, extension, larger buyout)???
That was the pointLots of teams have great nights on offense against Fran's teams.
Claude, who has 17 points so far, is listed at 6'6
Brock is listed at 6'0
Margret... that's who.... lolWhat does sherm Dillard do?
Yeah. He ain’t the problem. And your boy Brock is the smallest, gotta weed out the weakest first.
Part of this is they can't jump. Even Dembele can't jump. Every rebound that skied into the air they got because they can out-athlete us. And they made so many threes that there was nothing to rebound.Bludgeoning on the glass again. Where's your nutsack
He was one tonight.Yeah. He ain’t the problem.
Well there was that fire thing in LA....USC only has 5K fans at home....lack of fan support hasn't hurt them. I have been expecting 10-10 in B1G play and we are still on trend for that. Even if this team were able to make it
to NCAA tourney, the teams that do knuckle on close wins and make runs all play hard nosed defense.
Exactly! Standing there like a schmuck with his hands in his pockets and can't burn a TO earlier!NOW Fran calls a timeout, when it essentially just time to let the clock run dry.
Please Beth. Just, please. Do the right thing this spring.
so you don't think he's a liability on defense? It's ok if every team keys in on his size for easy buckets? alrightyI love all the “Brock can’t play defense” because we watch some back downs in a game.
That’s just a small part of defense. Most of defensive off ball. We have loss poor defensive philosophies.
Mostly it is, he's the head coach and the last time I looked he's getting paid lot's of money to coach the players, he's a very good offensive coach, but doesn't give a damn about defense and rebounding or doesn't have the expertise or assistances to teach the latter 2 important aspects of the game. He should have been replaced with a younger coach and one that values all 3 aspects of the game, but like getting the students near the floor of Carver, replacing Fran is not on Beth's agenda any time soon. This isn't on Fran bro
Yep, lets USC go on that big run early-middleish part of the 2nd half to get the lead back up to somewhere between 15-18 and never even slightly considers a timeout to try and put a little band-aid on that gaping & gushing wound.Exactly! Standing there like a schmuck with his hands in his pockets and can't burn a TO earlier!
He couldn't do anything on offense either.so you don't think he's a liability on defense? It's ok if every team keys in on his size for easy buckets? alrighty
He couldn't do anything on offense either.
He's not fast enough for his size.
well he sure as hell ain't the solution holmesYeah. He ain’t the problem.
Every coach that we play against (men or women) will let a run go 6-8 points and then tries to slow it down with a TO. Like most middle school coaches would do! Franny lets it ride until a TV timeout because he really isn't sure what he could tell them to help stop the bleeding. Turribul.Yep, lets USC go on that big run early-middleish part of the 2nd half to get the lead back up to somewhere between 15-18 and never even slightly considers a timeout to try and put a little band-aid on that gaping & gushing wound.
Jesus, it's way past your bed time. You should be glad Fran's the coach, he gave your boy Brock a scholie for shit's sake. Don't forget to freshen up the bed pan before you hit the sheets.Mostly it is, he's the head coach and the last time I looked he's getting paid lot's of money to coach the players, he's a very good offensive coach, but doesn't give a damn about defense and rebounding or doesn't have the expertise or assistances to teach the latter 2 important aspects of the game. With Brock’s small statue you would think he would be quick enough to prevent bigger guards from taking him off the dribble. But tonight they were constantly blowing by him going in for layups. We always find ourselves in the position of having to help out defensively which means there is someone wide open on the 3 point line or cutting to the basket.offensively he hangs, defensively every PG in B1G outside Braden Smith can back him down into the lane. He need's help,
but Fran plays 2-3 other guys that needs help.
I get it, but USC is a football school. And LA is more of a pro sports town than a college town. Especially when USC football & UCLA basketball haven't shown much recently.12 games, 4250 average attendance---were they sheltering in place all season?
His size is a problem but far from the real problem. Pointing out a backdown that happens once in awhile while overlooking all the other issues is a lack of knowledge.so you don't think he's a liability on defense? It's ok if every team keys in on his size for easy buckets? alrighty
Brock is the great white Little guy hope....Lute though it would be Todd Berkenpas and Davis thought it might be Troy Skinner. It was neither of those guys. Fran now thinks it is Harding. He couldn't do anything on offense either.
He's not fast enough for his size.

There are so many holes that Brock’s height is the least of our concerns.
Continue to blame Brock for the loss, it makes you so dumb, yes USC did take advantage of Brocks height early in the game, but so did they against Drew, Dix, Payton, and even Owen. Why aren't you complaining about Dembele or anyone else other then Brock? Surely you see others making mistakes that contributes to Iowa losing these games, why aren't you calling out those players?so you don't think he's a liability on defense? It's ok if every team keys in on his size for easy buckets? alrighty
It is no coincidence that most teams have hot shooting nights against us. Hawks have a porous defense, poor rebounding and give up too many second chance points. That was the point
Do not laugh. Iowa is well on the way to those kind of crowds.12 games, 4250 average attendance---were they sheltering in place all season?
Hopefully we get the crap version of USC.
Being an Iowa fan I fully expect USC to go off![]()
A troubling pattern is emerging. Road turds.Conference road wins aren't easy to begin with, but I'm sure the long travel, late start, & unfamiliar surroundings added to the difficulty,... Shake it off, long season ahead.
Good prediction…I only caught part of the game, but I had Oregon tournament game flashbacks…😢9:30pm FS1
USC -2.5
O/U 161.5
USC (10-6, 2-3) is a tough team to figure out. They just won at Illinois but previous to that game they had only one P5 victory. Looking at the stats they are not a great team either. They are 5-5 in last ten games and they do not shoot or rebound well.
All that said, they best Iowa 88-79
Sadly this turned out to be true…If they don't shoot the 3 ball well then undoubtedly, they will most likely make 17 3's against us this evening and one of their players that typically can't shoot will go 6-8 from deep.
relax, all the comment was is that Harding is a defensive liability. The loss isn't all due to him, but, he certainly didn't helpContinue to blame Brock for the loss, it makes you so dumb, yes USC did take advantage of Brocks height early in the game, but so did they against Drew, Dix, Payton, and even Owen. What was the rebounding discrepancy 37 to 20, Brock is not out there for rebounding and again it doesn't appear no one on Iowa was on the floor to rebound either. Why haven't you complained every game about that in your rants or the defense from the other Hawks....
Oh, that's right, you only concentrate on Brock while he's on the floor, he's only a sophomore not a senior so yes, he is going to struggles in some games.
Notice Iowa doesn't have a 7 foot center for the other teams to concentrate on during the game, and our forwards love to take 3 point shots instead of driving to the basket, Iowa is a jump shooting team and when the shots don't fall it makes everyone look bad.
He'll get better despite you and others ragging on him during and after every game whether he deserves it or not. Yeah, you're not racist, you're just pissed that Brock beat out Drew for the starting point guard position, admit it and by the way how's your favorite player that left the team and went to St. Bonaventure, he must be injured because he not even listed on their roster.
Yeah, I want to say it's a fluke because that's a bad and very ugly shooting USC team that just hit 65% from 3, but it's obviously not a fluke.A troubling pattern is emerging. Road turds.
Yeah, that would certainly make him more difficult to defend, I just don’t think that's who he is.Which is why he needs to to become a Bohannon like player and practice 3s like no tomorrow. There are so many moments where he's open for 3 off a screen and he decides to dribble into the paint where the defenders are camped. All he wants to do is get closer and not shoot the open jumper, he plays exactly like Joe Touissant.
