Ukraine wasn’t a Soviet bloc nation on its own. The land was actually part of the country known as USSR that was part of the Soviet Bloc. Of the countries you listed, only Romania was a Soviet bloc nation. The rest were just republics(similar to our states) of the USSR.

Mostly from west Ukraine. Today its is part of the national guard units.
