As a veteran of two deployments to Iraq, let someone else police the middle east other than the US. I'm fine with it.
Whether you want to believe it or not, the US did the best it could to minimize civilian casualties. US soldier were fighting with both hands tied behind their backs so to speak and did a remarkable job. This is something that the American people don't realize about what the soldiers went through in Iraq.
I have a felling the Russians will not care and it may work out better in the ME. Sure there will be media coverage, but Putin and the Russian people will not care. If they send troops to Iraq, they will send them to win and wipe out ISIS. To be honest, it's what probably what needs to be done.
