Not a result but someone to watch at ironman is Jacob Warner #7 top ranked Junior at 182. I believe it was said he attended the Grapple on the Gridiron. Not sure if it was to see Iowa or OSU. Could have just wanted to be part of history. I hope it's because he's interested in Iowa! Go Hawks!

Marinelli wins by fall in the 1st. Troy injury defaults. Didn't get a chance to see what happened but a big bummer for sure

Bummer about Troy. I would love to see him and Manville. Not to mention him and Wick. I watched Marinelli and he is just plain ridiculous. His opponent looked a bit bigger than Alex and the Bull tossed this kid around like a rag doll and then pinned him in the first period. Alex is a pretty intense guy on the mat. I can't wait to see him in black and gold.
Warner is a stud. Intermat has him ranked 6th at 182 and Flo has him at 7th. All the guys ranked ahead of him are Seniors with Warner just a Junior. If he's got his sites set on Iowa, that is really good news. He's a pretty accomplished freestyle guy. He had a barn-burner with Minnesota commit Owen Webster where he lost like 9-8 or 8-7. Kid does NOT like to lose. Definitely has that go go go mentality. Looks like he would fit right in. Wonder what kind of inside info PBS has on him. Papa?
Marinelli wins 18-8 over #15 Karoly from Blair. He got a little sloppy on top going for the pin and got reversed in the 1st, but he was always going for the pin on top and looking to score from his feet. Can't get him on campus fast enough
Marinelli is going down to Sheets (OSU recruit). I've make the call. #1 against #13, Marinelli is overhyped. Marinelli is a great wrestler and deserves the #1 ranking but I think Sheets will give him a run for his money. It will be a close match and watch this Sheets and how he ride, Daddy was one of the best ever in college at riding.

Unless Marinelli gets injured it isn't happening. He did just smoke a wrestler a couple months ago that your boy Joe Smith had to hang on for dear life to beat only a week earlier (Josh Shields). If it's not a major, it will be close

I really thought Sheets beating up on a bunch of unranked wrestlers meant that he was going to take it to a top 3 p4p kid. FYI Mike, Thomas didn't care who Wyatt's father is, lol
