I just don't see any way they can keep him after this season. They will be lucky to get 100 fans at games for the remainder of the season. It will start to look very Licklighteresque out there. I don't hate Fran and there are things I actually really like about him, but it's time.
I was going to go to at least 2 games with at least 3+ others not going to bother now.

Iowa is a good offensive team.. They'll win some games and when they have a game where all the 3-balls are falling then there will be a thread about how great Fran is and if you disagree, you're trash.
This was an abomination...but Iowa matches up better with Wisconsin than they did with Purdue last year. I wouldn't be surprised if Iowa beats Wisky at Carver.
I wish Payton good luck, but really if he's going to shoot like he has this season and also be sub-par defender, he needs to sit. That is just basketball. It's just sad the guy can't even make 3ball shots when he's unguarded.

I've been done with Fran since Richmond. I was almost there after Oregon the previous year. It's been a long time since I've actually defended him.

People aren't going to Carver to watch the men's game nowadays - not with any real interest, at least - they're just there for the soft serve.
This Team is poorly Coached , has zero heart or guts which is shown by total disregard for playing defense or rebounding, Typical Fran Team , Iowa should have fired Him Years ago , the fact He is still grifting millions from the university is worthy of a RICO investigation, I quit watching with any seriousness Iowa Basketball long ago , Garbage basketball , garbage Coach
