One of the winters I lived up in Minnesota, I'm pretty sure there was a solid weak where there were no temps above 0 degrees. Also, after moving snow. it was higher than our cars in driveway.
We got a Chow mix a few months ago. Those are some Three Dawg Nights you described!!
Being in Baton Rouge the next few weeks could be fun.
My weather app shows teens and 20s for the next 10 days in Iowa. I thought the polar vortex and -30 degree temps were moving in midweek? 🤔
The polar vortex and -30's,.. I'm also seeing highs in the teens and twenties for eastern Iowa next week.Which part of my post is not in Iowa?
Let’s go Canada!
Let’s go Canada!
Thank you for your service.I remember late January and early February of 1996. Had footings poured for a Burlington St. apartment then we had 10 consecutive nights below zero: -1, -1, -6,-18, -16, -26, -24, -19, -3, -4 and 4 straight daytime highs below zero, -2, -2, -6 and -13! Actual temperatures, not wind chill. It warmed up on February 7 and the rest of the spring was above average by a lot...
I remember January of 1963. 20 consecutive nights of zero or below zero, mostly double digit below zero. Single digit highs for those same 20 days...
The further south you go in Florida, the worse it gets. My SiL was complaining her house was "freezing" when the thermostat hit 67°I've been in the area since early December and it's comical how the puffer jackets come out once the temps drop below 70 degrees. I was sitting out by the beach cafe at Anna Maria Island a couple weeks ago and everyone was bundled up.
Duh. Currently 63 in my house. I’m in sweats, thick hoodie, and with a fleece blanket. It’s cold. Oh. Wearing socks too.The further south you go in Florida, the worse it gets. My SiL was complaining her house was "freezing" when the thermostat hit 67°
Toughen up Buttercup. 🤣Duh. Currently 63 in my house. I’m in sweats, thick hoodie, and with a fleece blanket. It’s cold. Oh. Wearing socks too.
Little under 60 in jupiter. My son is heading to Disney later this week with his girlfriend. The last time we were in Florida was 20 or 21 when they were also having record lows. Talk about shitty luck. At least he gets into Disney free.
My dad's place is set at 72. It feels like a goddamn humidor in there. I jump into the pool to dry offThe further south you go in Florida, the worse it gets. My SiL was complaining her house was "freezing" when the thermostat hit 67°
Currently 40 degrees in Tampa
It's amazing how 72° can feel cool in the summer but hotter than hell during the winter. My dad's place is set at 72. It feels like a goddamn humidor in there. I jump into the pool to dry off
I would have just let the car warm up and then driven it until the air pressure rose. One of my tires was reading low so I had to stop and put air in it. The temp read at 6 degrees, and I completed the task quickly with smug satisfaction that Trad would have broken a nail and rage posted about the incredible hardship he'd endured.
Dark and 6 am, and it kicked on after driving 1/4 mile. I’m sure you remember those days before you went Florida.I would have just let the car warm up and then driven it until the air pressure rose.
Crud...about the same for San Antonio. The next 3 morning lows for Tampa
