Sure plenty of politicians over the years have been corrupted in their play to enrich themselves. The Pritzkers however are so flush with wealth, there's little to no incentive to do so.
I suspect that Pritzker may consider it depending on what Biden's approval ratings are next year and how the midterm elections go. One thing that makes a Pritzker primary challenge different than someone else is that with a net worth of over $3.5 billion, he can completely self fund.
I would support Pritzker for president. We’re in a lot better shape now, he has a lot of crap to clean up after Rauner, possibly the worst governor of all time from any state.
Man, Pot is such a valuable tool in reshaping economies for states. Bravo to him. He'll have my vote over any dumb F candidate the Cons put up.
He also got sports betting legalized and is taxing that as well, although I don't know how much money that has brought into the state.
Iowa does that and I can do it from my La-Z-Boy (which is good and bad). I assume Iowa taxes that? Still pisses me off CR doesn't get a casino. 2nd largest city in Iowa and can't get the nod. Let's put one in Emmetsburg though.

Illinois republicans hate him because they can’t touch him. His approval rating is over 50% which is pretty rare for a politician. He would easily win another term if there was an election today. That said, he can’t win a national election.
Huh? He's won re-election twice getting over 2/3 of the vote. He's been the best Governor of Illinois in my lifetime and recovered the state from the complete fiscal disaster of the Rauner years.

"He can't win a national election". That same thing was said about the last 3 Democratic Presidents. He absolutely can if the election is clean. However, I can't be confident that's going to be the case for midterms or the next national election. I can't even say for sure there will be an election again. So far, every blatantly unconstitutional action Trump has done has hardly gotten a shrug of indifference from the media. Even the birthright citizenship deal hasn't registered and he's about to get that when it goes to the Supreme Court and they decide that they now have the power to rewrite the Constitution and allow him to do it. If they do that, then there is no reason to think that not only will he ignore the 23rd amendment and run for a 3rd term he could just ignore the "must have an election every 4 years" part of the Constitution as well.

His legislative record will be more than enough to respond to those things with. Plus, his legislative record will be able to bring in most of the voters that abandoned Biden in 2024. Except maybe the Palestinians in Michigan but after their brethren have been physically removed from Gaza and dumped into he middle of the desert in Jordan somewhere they might realize the value of strategic voting, even if it isn't getting everything you want.
