MSNBC is reporting that Trump left the WH this evening and is flying to Florida for a weekend of golf, and promoting an event at one of his resorts.
I wish I could be calm like Northern, but it seems like bad timing to pull the pin out of a grenade, throw it into the US economy, and then go golfing at taxpayer expense.

Composure and moxie. You either have it or you don't.

C'mon, if you can't take a long weekend to celebrate LIBERATION DAY, then what are we even doin here!?!

I mean just today the Donald LIBERATED 5% of the markets, our relationships with our trading partners, and some National Security Council officials, all blessed by a third string administration, LET'S DANCE!

I wonder what Donald, Little Don, and Eric will discuss with the Saudis? Weird that SA didn't get hit too hard by the tariffs.
Saudi Arabia got the same tariff rate as Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Kuwait, Lebanon, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Sudan, Turkey, the UAE and Yemen. I guess those countries all got the special Jared discount too.

Did that guy that supposedly vaguely attempted the second assassination attempt at the golf course ever get out of custody?

Asking for a friend. 😉

There he is. Go ahead and tell us all the big math and deeply researched decision making that went into which nations were hit the hardest. Tell the class Trump isn't playing favorites and won't leverage this for personal gain.

Don't be giving then any ideas
I've read too many airport bookshop political thrillers. Tom Clancy got a phone call the morning of 9-11 based on his '94 book Debt of Honor when a Japanese Pilot crashed an empty 747 into the capital during a joint session of congress is how Jack Ryan became President.

I would be surprised if any research at all went into it. I was just curious to see how much we hit SA with so I Googled it and found a source that listed all of the countries in the ME/NA region. Everyone got at least 10%. And the ones I listed, along with SA, all got the minimum 10%.
