Is it fair to say that KF cant lose the ISU game this year and keep his job?

isu in 2014 still goes 2-10 with Iowa's schedule.
Is that including a win against Iowa or not? Iowa State is bad, but so were Purdue, Illinois, Northwestern and Indiana last year. Ball State was the worst team either team played. Minnesota and Maryland are far from juggernauts as much as Iowa made them look like it. Wisconsin and Nebraska would probably be losses. Sure we can count Northern Iowa as a loss too. Iowa's best win against Pitt, a 6-6 team in the regular season, also could be a win at home.

With such a crappy schedule and season ticket sales dropping, just beating Iowa St should be low on the list of concerns.

Yep they would be 2-10 with wins over Iowa and Ball State. the KU game proved they would lose all the others. Unless of course we are to ignore the isu favorite, Sagarin that is.

Iowa's weak schedule should produce at a minimum a 7-5 season and a .500 Big Ten record that being said, if one of the losses is to ISU KF and his staff should be gone. If this type of performance is the sound foundation Gary Barta is talking about he will be around another year. Attendance will continue to dwindle; another minor bowl game will be offered with little fan support; and mediocrity will continue. If that is what Iowa fans want KF is your coach. I don't accept mediocrity and I would hope the vast majority of Iowa fans don't.

The big question remains has KF and his staff made the necessary changes scheme wise and recruited the type of players to make them work? The past 5 years performance tell us "no" let's see how his "vowed" renewed dedication work out.

I'm not confident the Barta has the stones to send KF packing regardless of how the season ends....

This guy gets it. Doesn't really matter about KF. Barta knows his time is up soon and going to let the football program bleed long enough to retire and collect checks.

I can't decide if the Big12 is worse in football or basketball. I guess I'd say basketball. Don't forget the B1G was the best conference in football & basketball last year. Hell, our 3rd best team beat the Big12 champ!

The big 12 can't match their hype, rankings or bogus SOS for either Football or MBB. The post season proves it. Each year it has been the same for 10 years.

Oh I keep forgetting their rankings, hype and SOS aren't bogus they just "beat up on each other" that is why the big 12 can't perform in the post season.

Quit laughing clone fans truly believe this.

I completely disagree. Is there a lack of evidence or is the evidence lacking? I have have been to many games at both Kinnick and JTS. There are pro's and con's to both but one isn't head and shoulders better than the other. The new practice facilities are comparable with the exception of size (does that make it better?) and unnecessary amenities which Rhodes designed that way on purpose. Until you can give measureables that constitutes what makes these facilities better they are your opinion and nothing more. I would encourage you to come up with better sources than the NYT but in case you did not read my post i gave Iowa credit for the fan base discrepancy, for now.

LOL
