Did Elon do a Nazi salute?

Whenever I see Phenom worshipping Elon, it reminds of of when Cartman worships Mel Gibson.

You are projecting all of those emotions. I'm guessing most of the Yes votes in this thread are as chill as someone on a hundy millis of THC.
I’m honestly not chill with what these assholes dropped on us again. I want to be about burning it down, but they’re all so damn proud of killing American democracy.

Someone show me the differences between these two.
I don't see any similarities... Ok, maybe in the way that they brought the arm up to their chest.... And maybe with the way that they swung their arm out sharply in a rigid sweeping motion.... And maybe how the hand was pointing straight out from the arm with fingers together as a salute at the end of a speech...

Other than that I see no similarities whatsoever.

Cruising for a half-staff Goldjob, no doubt. He seems like the kind of guy that would wear dirty track pants with no underwear, so should work out well for both parties.
I’m married and don’t need any help with my dick getting played with. I also don’t wear or own dirty track pants and I never go commando.
Seems you’re still as clueless as ever.
And thanks to you guys for proving my moth to a light post from earlier.

The salute itself was pretty much a classic roman salute. The way the hands were extended, the angle the arm was at. And he repeated it, which meant he was going for something.

Was it meant to be something that looked like the Nazi salute? I don't know. Musk may have been trolling. A writer at the Atlantic mentioned it being a perfect match with a salute captain Kirk gave in the original star trek series. Maybe something dumb like that. I doubt Musk is an *actual* nazi, and it's not clear what he was going for with that, but it is possible he knowingly went for something that looked like a Nazi salute.

This is what I think and he's not an actual Nazi. I think he knew what he was doing and he was trolling. Elon is mentally handicapped / disordered. Mentally diminished people do things for reasons that "normal" people don't always understand.

So, I don't think he's a Nazi. But I think he knows he did a Nazi-origined salute either by plan or by impulse. Because he's mentally diminished. So I'm not sure how to vote. Sorry @Moral.

I am doing a simple yes or no poll. I feel bad leaving out it's positive heart vibes as an option, but I need to know where people stand on this Nazi version of yellow dress blue dress.

I have no idea if there was intent or not. None of us do. I do trust the reporting of the Associated Press, however.

And maybe we should all take the advice of the Anti-Defamation League and tap the brakes and "take a breath.”

From the linked AP article:

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), an antisemitism and human rights watchdog, called it an “awkward gesture” and urged caution in jumping to conclusions. Other extremism monitors and experts pointed out it was unclear what Musk was trying to convey to the crowd of Trump’s supporters by thrusting his arm out.

“I’m skeptical it was on purpose,” said Jared Holt, a senior research analyst at the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, which tracks online hate. “It would be an act of self-sabotage that wouldn’t really make much sense at all.”

Holt noted Musk specifically said his heart went out to the crowd. That could indicate a sort of gesture of thanks to them.

“It seems that @elonmusk made an awkward gesture in a moment of enthusiasm, not a Nazi salute, but again, we appreciate that people are on edge,”
the ADL said in a statement. “In this moment, all sides should give one another a bit of grace, perhaps even the benefit of the doubt, and
take a breath.”

Much like AIPAC, ADL isn't what it wants people to think it is.

Some more “why”

X is destroying the legacy mass indoctrination industry. One manufactured hoax at a time.

I know you find it impossible to see how someone can dislike Musk.

I dislike assholes. I especially dislike billionaire assholes who don’t play by the same rules as everyone else and then rub our faces in it.

I think his companies are pretty cool (Cybertruck and X excluded). I think there are great engineers there who do some interesting work.

Stuff isn’t complicated.

It’s funny you say this because the place I work at is very much liberal. Thankfully my boss and my department are not that way. But well done. You hit the nail on the head thinking it would be a burn.

Don't take this as a burn, because that's not the intent. You are the most god damn milquetoast rigthy we have on HORT.

Here, since I know you'll need it: Link

Before I could take it as a burn. I would need to know why/how you consider me milquetoast. Because I vote Republican but I’m not full blown MAGA/Republican but I actually have a mind of my own and not 100% agree what they think.

Rolling in for a long night of casting delusions on HROT after a hard day frying grease at the burger stand?

I think you are a lovable goofball that’s a little soft in the head.

Like the HBOT version of Forrest Gump.

He's gonna come back w/ a real zinger about your career, torbs.
It’s a burden. I just hope the myriad editors that ask me to write for them don’t get wind that the intelligentsia of the HBOT board like Goldy and IAFB2021Champs aren’t fans of my work. Might really impact my bottom line!
