Is this the year Scott Frost beats Iowa?

Apart from the game being in Lincoln this season ... I don't see too many other possible advantages that the Huskers might hold. They're probably going to be pretty young and inexperienced at WR ... so most of their experience catching the ball will be coming at TE. Iowa's D is used to practicing against much better TEs.
Absurd. Why should Nebraska lower its expectations? Nebraska is a blue blood on the same level as Alabama. No reason they shouldn’t be competing for national titles every year.
Counting on 8th year senior O Martin is not going to help them

kNebby’s will only be competing for a national title in volleyball. As for their QB Martinez, he will be lucky to be standing by the time they play Iowa.

Wandale was a nice player but didn’t really fit the offense. A lot of his production was due to Scott’s Frosts ability to scheme him open. Nebraska has a ton of size at WR and TE which is what SF is looking for.
I understand trying to make yourself feel better about the big loss, but this is absolutely ridiculous. Frost’s system is built on these players. His recruiting is built on quick players that excel in space. Why do you think Robinson was a starter once he stepped (and smoked a joint) on campus?

Frost and Debbie fans will enjoy yet another season of being inferior to the Hawks. We have a better RB, a better OL, a better TE, better Defense and our if our QB keeps improving he is more then a match for hot and cold Martinez. And I would take Tracy at WR any day before Martin. The only way the Hawks lose is if they don't come to play.

And, we have a much better head coach. Actually it ain't even close between the two coaches.

Lol No. they lost a lot of key players and are near the bottom of the league in player development.
On top of they usually lose about 1/2 the freshman class every year a month or so after they get on campus.

Same level as Alabama??? Meth is bad for you!

Scott Frost is definitely going to be motivated to do so.

Where was Alabama before Saban? Once a blue blood always a blue blood. It just takes the right guy.
The Blue Blood term gets thrown around by several NE fans. I question what it really means. I did some research. The term is subjective. The dictionary has no reference to the term as it relates to football. I searched multiple football articles discussing the term. The criteria varies widely between well among respected sports analysts. About 50% considered NE a “blue blood”. In conclusion, the Blue Blood term means very little. There is no definitive criteria for who is a Blue Blood. Most NE fans believe Huskers are a blue blood. Ask most college football fans younger than 30 about The Huskers and their response might be “who”? Blue blood is a term used to feel better about a program that is not reaching expectations, but most fans live in the present.

On field results are secondary. History, Tradition, and Fan Support is what matters most. As long as Nebraska still has those elements it will do continue to be a top flight college football power. Iowa football will never be as universally respected as Nebraska football.

Who’s going to cover Fidone? Guys going to be a match nightmare
You are funny. Every NE player that has yet to play a down in college is the next hero for NE. Then they play a year, 2 years, transfer, etc., and they become the big recruiting miss. And it's never Frost's fault, right?

Iowa peaks in November. NE is in a tailspin by then.

Iowa 48, NE 6.

"On the field results are secondary" UNL has sure proven that the last 20 years. 6 L's in a row to that universally non-respected Iowa.

Definitely someone just having some fun. I would guess that it's a clone fan because they usually have nothing better to do, especially in the winter when the fields are covered with snow and the cows are locked up😉

Fidone is different. The kid is the truth-NFL talent from day 1. Under Frosts tutelage he will be a top 10 pick.

Lomax is trolling and trolling hard. Quit feeding the troll.

I’ll just leave this here...

That map almost looks like the 1968 presidential electoral map, except for color and state. Replace NE with Massachusetts sand it would be correct.

Except Frost has never "tutored" a tight end to be a first-round draft pick. Iowa does that pretty regularly.

And their BBall program is at rock bottom. I think you nailed it.

Iowa was recruited good tight ends but have not developed them well.

Kittle, Hockenson, and Fant were underutilized. Frost knows how to get talented players the football.
Wow. Just when I thought that you couldn't say anything more ridiculous...

Minnesota is more of a 'blue blood' than UNLLLLLL as they have seven national championships last century.
So now Minnesota and Nebraska play in the 'Has Been" Bowl every year in a great battle for mediocracy and the trophy is a broken chair and five bits.

Oh look, Bohannon scored another three.

You don’t actually believe this. Absolutely ridiculous.

The only Big Ten programs on Nebraska’s level is OSU, UM, and PSU. Nebraska football is part of an elite class of football programs that strive for championships.
