Is this the year Scott Frost beats Iowa?

Did you watch that monster Grand dinger?!! In essentially his first season as coach at NE, Bolt wins his first series in Iowa City! LOL! Already owning Iowa. Gotta love it!!

You guys are also clanking 'em out west today against a native Nebraskan!! Take it easy on the rim you guys!!

And now Groucho Garza is gone. You guys are going to be rough next year without he and Bohannon.

In case you didn't catch it earlier..

How much does it hurt as a Nebraska fan to come to the Iowa board and the only sh-t you can talk is baseball and the fact that our basketball team is not going to be as good next year as it was this year? I feel for you buddy. You aren’t even annoying anymore, just sad.

Yo, @Hoosker Du , is this picture hanging in your small town Nebraska church?

I meant, STILL HANGING in your small Nebraska town church.

Well Scott, use whichever restroom makes you comfortable, but get the fvck out of my personal space.

Hahahaha. Holy cow I needed a good laugh this morning. Thanks for coming through for me. You must not have visited this board when it happened or were around here those first few years when Nebraska actually beat us. The level of arrogance, hubris and elitist views expressed by Husker fans here was through the roof. But funny thing happened since Nov. 15'. Seemed like from that win and so on every year just had fewer and fewer Husker trolls after loss after loss piled up against Iowa and basically anyone else they played. Then we saw a brief spike in Jan. 18' when we were all warned of the incoming Frost warning (still waiting for that to come to fruition). But Nebraska fans and humble is quite the oxymoron for this site.

Nebraska fans are incredibly nice folks. Humble and know and love the sport. They welcomed a rivalry with a lesser program like Iowa with open arms.

This has got to be a great troll job...right. Nobody is actually this stupid.

2 mornings in a row you give me a good laugh. First off every fan has their nice gracious fans and I'm sure Nebraska has some as I've heard the ones who go to games in Lincoln are pretty nice compared to the likes of Badger and Goofer fans. But many Iowans who live in Western Iowa or have frequented this board can say the exact opposite. I love the humble comment followed up with a dig at a "lesser" program. Humble like when your fans were proclaiming dominance when you joined the conference or soaking up the comments by Frost talking about how they better win against him in year one because they won't be getting too many more after that (which hasn't happened). Along with how the OSU and Michigan's of the conference will have to adjust to them. How's any of that working out?

Remind me again what is Nebraska's record vs that lesser program since they joined the conference? Little hint it's 3-7 with 6 straight. Nebraska is that middle age man who works a menial paying job sitting at the local bar bragging about how awesome he was in HS 20+ years ago as Springsteen's Glory Days plays in the background. Bunch of has beens.

It's pathetic responses like this which confirm Nebraska's scholastic qualifications are not up to Big Ten standards.

I'm not sure I've ever read a weaker response. I'm embarrassed for you and your family.

Scott's checking with his financial advisors to make sure he could retire after next season should that need arise.

Thanks for letting us beat you in everything your fans consider holy! You guys are great!

I believe it was the insight bowl in Arizona.
I haven't seen that anywhere. Do you have a link?
I have seen 'may have', 'had interest', 'could have', etc. When I google Nebraska Insight Bowl it goes back to 2010. Any link you have would be appreciated.

You are earnest, I will give you that. Frost definitely has the Huskers headed in the right direction. He needs to be locked up long term, no?
As an Iowa fan I certainly hope so. I can wear extra layers to deal with those brutal frost warnings we have had to deal with.

LOL. When was your last win against Iowa? Lesser program?

I knew that Nebraska fans were delusional, but I didn't know that they were also idiots.

No decent coach in their right mind will touch Nebraska with a 10-ft pole.

It's getting better, but the entitlement cult many of the older fans and boosters still has such a strong grip on the program. They need a top-to-bottom rebuild, but their fanbase doesn't have the mindset or the patience for it.
It will still take a few years, but once the older portion of their fan base passes away, the younger generation won’t remember their “glory years” which hopefully will result in less overall cockiness from their fan base.

Absurd. Why should Nebraska lower its expectations? Nebraska is a blue blood on the same level as Alabama. No reason they shouldn’t be competing for national titles every year.
Lol...now I KNOW you’re just trolling. 😉

There isn't an ISU fan that has seen any glory days but it doesn't prevent legions of their trolls from spreading the gospel here.

Yes we were told by Bill Moos that Michigan and Ohio State were getting nervous. In retrospect, it appears Bill meant nervous about conference realignment, not playing Nebraska.

But we were also told that we better get Nebrasksa real quick, because things were going to be changing. One of these years, Nebraska is bound to win 7+ games, correct?

This reminds me of some of the threads and the arrogant post by their fans. One of the few times I wish I would've saved some posts or bookmarked a thread to read years later. Funny how almost all the Husker fans talking crap then aren't here anymore and even funnier how every year fewer and fewer of them are trolling around here. One of my favorite was Nebraska fans thinking their savior Frost would dominate Iowa and we better beat them the first season because after that wins would be few and far between. They were expecting Frost to have a 8-2 or 9-1 record after his first decade there. Right now he will be lucky to make it through 5 seasons let alone having a winning record against Iowa.
