Got a bagel this morning and tipped the young gal a buck for my $3 breakfast. Keep on keeping on!
What if it's a place where you order at the counter, but a server still brings you your food?my new rule…
if I order food while standing up, I’m not tipping

Link to wear pimple faced johnny handing me my fountain soda is getting the 15-20% I just selected. "If" I were to do it, I'd rather just hand johnny the cash. It’s worth the good Karma to give the sled dogs some love.
Tip? Give her the whole thingI bought a brownie at Panera today. Felt guilty I didn’t hit the tip button. Why leave $0.80 for a grab n go bakery item? She was hot though. Maybe I should’ve tipped.
Just put no tip if you can't afford it. Not really that hard.Anyone else notice it's no longer 15%, 18%, 20% custom? Now it's 20%, 25%, 30% custom? Man, employers really want us paying their staff's wages.

Should be illegal to prompt for a tip when it’s not table service.
My wife yells at me if I don’t tip 20%. 🙄. She is part of the problem.I never feel bad about not tipping at pick up places like Subway or ModPizza or a place like that. That’s just the business model.
However, my daughter works as a hostess at a nice restaurant and she has to gather and assemble the to-go orders and it’s a fair amount of work. For places like that I usually still tip 10-15% but you’d be surprised at how many people leave no tip.
My wife yells at me if I don’t tip 20%. 🙄. She is part of the solution.
I’m sure this has been posted already. But think it sums up any tipping threadI don’t mind tipping 20% when the service is good. It shouldn’t be the standard, IMO.
I had one that started at 25%...Anyone else notice it's no longer 15%, 18%, 20% custom? Now it's 20%, 25%, 30% custom? Man, employers really want us paying their staff's wages.
