That would then apply to our OL.If you have one of the worst teams in the country and you return most of the starters, you probably will still have one of the worst teams in the country the following year.

Their top 3 returning wr will be seniors this coming season and 4th best was a sr as well as backup te dean who no clue if using free year or not. Yes have te and your rb that were frosh but that’s not “many”. also lost other 2 RBs besides him unless you want to count that white rb in the bowl game then…Iowa State was pretty decent last year and many of the offensive skill position players were freshman.

That makes sense. Now let's change the topic to Iowa State. If you have one of the worst teams in the country and you return most of the starters, you probably will still have one of the worst teams in the country the following year.
A 7-6 team bringing nearly everyone back the following year is actually pretty solid. If you have one of the worst teams in the country and you return most of the starters, you probably will still have one of the worst teams in the country the following year.
We lost Logan Lee on D also.Iowa lost 2 on defense( Evans DeJean)
2 on offense( feith, Nico).
Who else?
That would be 18 returnees.
I saw 7th, but you’re point stands…iswho picked in middle of pack in the new Big 12.I think they are picked for like 6th in new Big 12. At least that was the last odds I saw.
Well, there are certainly advantages having that many returning starters - particularly early on. They should be able to play pretty fast (less thinking that new players bring to early first starts) and solid communication between players on the field.
I knew it was somewhere in there. Based on the betting odds.I saw 7th, but you’re point stands…iswho picked in middle of pack in the new Big 12.
I opened this thread to post the same thing. I hope it isn’t true but I’m afraid it might be.That would then apply to our OL.
My mistake..lee is a significant loss.We lost Logan Lee on D also.
Cool story bro!Iowa State was pretty decent last year and many of the offensive skill position players were freshman.
All would have been a starter if not injured. Can't think of anyone else.We lost Logan Lee on D also.
Wow, Washington only has 4 returning starters and Michigan has 7. Those teams got hit hard as far as starters but have to believe both have better depth than many others on the listTeam-By-Team 2024 Returning Starters (Power 4)
Meh, I would say maybe they will have a better QB than us, but that's probably about it.So, ISU football is basically an elementary school cafeteria with all staff returning for the new school year. There’s experience there, sure. But, the product will once again be shit.
Seems a bit more accurate than the first guy.
Sure hope for isu’s sake that the leftover league doesn’t have a defense as dominant as Memphis’s. Hate to see isu get embarrassed yet again.Iowa State was pretty decent last year and many of the offensive skill position players were freshman.
