That non PI call was trash.

Lol watching him talk to the refs there at the end and seeing how fragile he looks, that may be true.
That picked up PI flag at the end was egregious. Just because he got his head around didn't mean there wasn't contact before the ball got there.....

Wonder boy coach throws the ball twice which gave KSU the time to win the game. The more things change the more they stay the same. isu loses to the refs again.

The 3 holding calls were legit. If isu doesn’t want to get called for holding then don’t do it. They were holding all game long.
DGAF about ISU, but they sure manage to find ways to lose games regardless who the HC is.
That last PI flag picked up was insane. Ref makes the call, instead of getting the info and announcing it, the head ref sprints over and convinces him it wasn't. Bizarre, the ref in position made the flipping call, and it was right. How the hell do you change that call?
I've never seen a fanbase complain about the refs more than ISU. Their AD came out and claimed there was a conspiracy against ISU. It's laughable.
Were ISU fans whining about the officials after we made the plays to win that game? It does get boring that ISU fans always blame the officials for a loss. If you don't want the refs to make a call or non-call that impacts the outcome, just score more points than the opponent. I actually wish they would of won as it makes us look better.

While there certainly was slanted officiating, Campbell did his team zero favors that last possession by passing the damn ball. I mean, I get it, 1st down and they win.

There will always be poor officiating so either deal with it or get over it.
There are a lot of homer announcers; he has to be one of the biggest tools of the bunch. I should have tuned in to the call just to hear him whine.

I have been an Iowa fan my entire life, enduring 17 straight non winning seasons and many other atrocities. However, I'm an Iowan, born and bred, and would rather see ISU win rather than that trailer trash school from Manhattan, KS.
Iowa State got today's game stolen from them by the officials. I can't recall so many flags get picked up late in a game and waved off. The last one was especially terrible as Lazzard was mugged and is the true case of pass interference.
Nepotism reared its ugly head again as Sean Snyder was flagged for unsportsman like conduct but his dad will see to it he gets the head job soon.

I didn't hear about this so if that indeed happened then you have a point. Our fans do love to shout at the media claiming a conspiracy for constant disrespect and refs having some vendetta against Iowa but I'm sure many fan bases are the same way

As a Hawkeye fan living outside the state of Iowa, I can confirm that no one cares about this except the KSU & ISU fans and around 17 to 22 fans in this board.

It has or will happen to most teams at some point. You can review tapes, fines, and suspensions but it won't change the outcome of the game. And because of this, I don't feel sorry one bit.

No, I don't think anybody said anything about the officiating after the Iowa game. I certainly didn't.
It is true that we tend to bitch about the officiating a lot.
On the other hand, we have received formal letters of apology, and the officials have been disciplined, on at least two (and I think three) occasions in the past, so it isn't all imagination.
And today was the worst start-to-finish screwing I have ever seen. I never accused officials of being corrupt -- and I am not saying that now, because I simply don't believe it. But they were definitely biased. In the fourth quarter, the official on the play called major penalties on KSU. On each occasion, the officials huddled -- no review or anything like that -- and announced there was no penalty. Never seen anything like it.
Agree. Besides, I watched the TCU/ISU game and ISU was holding all game long and never got called for it while TCU couldn't run a series w/o a penalty. You win some and lose some due to calls and non calls.
Our fans definitely moan about refs. Just saying it's a way of life for ISU fans. No comparison.
I caught myself with an ISU game on the radio, driving home from IC one Saturday night. Unbelievable. Even my wife said, "Geez, these announcers complain about everything". The loser attitude permeates every level in Ames.
Yup, it happened. It earned him a $10,000 fine and a series of "f**** you" performances by the refs in subsequent games. He shouldn't oughtta done it.
