The 3rd #2 seed at that. Thought they were borderline a 1 or the top 2 seed. Also, the B1G getting the shaft so far.
South Dakota State then possibly Drake?! They might as well just start them in the Sweet 16.

ISU and Drake in Omaha is going to be a party.
Their net ranking was 6. Supposedly the committee puts a lot of emphasis on the net rankings.
NO complaints with a 2 seed. Soft non-conference schedule probably hurt them. Just keep playing well and they can beat anyone. At the sake time, ISU bball history tells me to not look past SDSU (see Hampton + UAB). Favorite sports time of the year!

I agree, Indiana State got screwed.
Good enough to win the Missouri Valley tournament, but Iowa State will beat them by 10+ if they meet.
I look forward to Purdue getting bounced early and often like normal. ISU will be lucky to make the S16, if they do, Illini will take them out.
I actually like ISU’s draw the first weekend. Best of any two seed. Avoid playing a Dayton or Florida second game. They did get an incredibly tough draw with the sweet sixteen and elite eight.

I don't really think they got screwed. It's not exactly favorable but they gave them real close games for the first 2 rounds. I think they can beat Illinois. They'd have to go through a 1 seed anyway. Not every team is going to roll out the carpet to the final 4 for a 2 seed.
