It comes down to shooting

you can break down everything about any game but sometimes the ball does not go in or does a lot. Indiana will probably have high turnovers. We get points off those and make 10 3s I think we win. There have been games where teams played very well, got open shots, few turnovers, forced turnovers and they ball just did not go in. Maryland made 12 3s against us and still lost because we made 18. Our 3 game loss streak we couldn't make anything.

Agree100%. We all tend to over-analyze wins and losses. Compare the Iowa-MSU game and the Iowa-Maryland game. Teams that "play well" shoot well. Teams that "play poorly" or "need to play harder" or "we didn't want it enough" had a bad shooting night.
