It sounds like we have a great incoming class. Who is going to have the best freshman year?

Josh Dix is the SG of the future, and if we are talking about best breakout candidate regardless of class, I think Josh is at the top of the list.

People aren't talking about him much given the plethora of newcomers. But Josh flashed some really good stuff in his sparing minutes last year, especially considering that he was coming off a long injury recovery.
If his shooting is on, we might even see him at the 3 if Fran decides to play a 3 guard offense.

Ladji is the most physically ready to play IMO and if he gets after it defensively and rebounds effectively, it's going to be very difficult to keep him off the court. I like Brock a lot and he brings an energy that's really needed in the program, he's a very unselfish player and that will serve him well. Our scorers will adore him. I think eventually Pryce can play the 1-3 positions, my only concern is how quickly he can adapt to the physicality of B10 basketball which can be a real grind for a freshman. Owen has a very high ceiling IMO and may surprise with how quickly he can adapt to the college game. At the very least he adds another big guy to work on the inside which may be necessary since we lack a true center.

Really love this class because they are all very different types of players and fill needs and depth for this year. Looking forward to the season and the journey of this very young but talented team.

This will probably be Frans best class top to bottom.

Probably not as good at the top as the Murrays class but these guys could all be 4 year players so may be more impactful.

Nimmers is the wild card that could turn it into a monster hand.

I could see any of these guys have a breakout year. Dembele is reportedly rebounding like crazy in practice. Freeman has the athleticism and size we need for a post. Harding has led his team to a State title against stiff competition and is impressing in practice. Price plays across from his brother everyday and is really going at it hard with him. I have a feeling we're going to have four contributors this year which one do you think does the most?

I guessed Dembele.

LOL

Most had Dembele. I went with Harding. He did have a sweet move tonight! He is second on that list.

Freeman was almost last according to us. We know nothing.
