Sorry, but thats a horrible analogy. The band didn't do anything to provoke their treatment, assault whatever you want to label what happened. Jbo most certainly set the wheels in motion for what happened. He's not innocent the way the band was......

I don’t remember JBo punching the Kron guy back, nor do I remember any of JBo’s buddies jumping in during the video. In fact, Kron was the “buddy” in this incident.

I wouldn’t say punching someone once after they punch you as being a fight. But none the less, I’m not disagreeing with the charge. The only difference in the situations is that jbo didn’t punch him back because he couldn’t.
However one could also argue jbo threw the first punch when he was throwing ice at people. No idea if he threw any at kron or not but if he did, you could classify that as a punch. I’m not sure a real punch from jbo would be any harder then the ice he’d be throwing.
You lay hands on somebody for any reason, you can expect to be charged,.. the real world isn't your fourth grade play ground...

The actual shared video didn’t show JBo “lipping off” to Kron. The video didn’t even show JBo talking to the guy he was recording actually. Clearly the video didn’t show JBo throwing ice, water, or anything for that matter at anyone. We just all assumed that to be fact for some reason. JBo didn’t share any video that he recorded that night publicly either.
So basically nothing that you posted above in your hypothetical situation happened that we know of. Not sure why it’s relevant to this discussion.
Stop trying do hard to make an argument with something I NEVER said. The guy who punched him should be punished for the assault. NEVER stood up for him. What I said was that Jbo wasn't innocent in this altercation, and if he hadn't done what he did this NEVER happens. Thats as clear as day. Try to add some fricken context here. So these people are having a WEDDING party. Supposed to be one of the biggest special days of their lives. Some douche bag stands above them and dumps stuff on the wedding party. You don't see a scenario where someone might decide to show said douche bag some manners, especially when alcohol is involved for both parties? To wrap it. Should the dude who punched him get punished? Yes probably so. Should Jbo have expected someone to set his ass straight. Absolutely. I guess will see, if he continues some of the stuff he does, or if he's learned anything.
Just a thought. So Jbo was with a group of people, correct. So did any of his "friends" step in to his aid? If not, why is that exactly?

Question for you…..do you really think JBo dumped anything on these people without something going on beforehand?? Were they being d-bags or throw something at him first?
I don’t know all the details, but I guarantee they don’t justify coming up behind a smaller dude, engaged with someone else, & sucker punching him multiple times before he can react. That’s the whole point you’re unfortunately too f’en dumb to understand.
A wedding party of upper 20 something’s in a college bar at 2:00 am. I’m sure the bride and groom were still there at that point, being their special day and all. Either way, the wedding party part of it is irrelevant to anything. No group of people deserves to have ice or water thrown at them. When you’re in your 20’s, even upper 20’s, you expect some douchery to happen at a college bar. Especially at closing time. Again, that in no way justifies anything that happened, but likely explains most of it.
We really don’t know who was all with JBo that night or how many. We don’t really know if JBo threw anything or the if the group he was with were the one’s doing it, or if there was actually ice thrown at all. If there actually was ice thrown that night, we don’t know at what time that actually happened either.
What we do know as facts by the video and reports is that a guy was talking to JBo which appeared heated. JBo is standing with him face to face and recording him with one hand occupied by a phone. Kron comes behind JBo, spins him around, and punches him multiple times in the head. Kron “probably” deserves to be charged here? 😂
Once JBo was on the ground, several people tried to help him up. It’s unknown if they were in his group or just people standing near him. In the video it was mostly females, maybe all females.
Good chance I would get up in your grill & regular punch your bitch-a$$. But that’s completely different from this sucker-punch situation, so completely irrelevant.

I agree with this to a point. Taking the high road is always the wise decision. And the safe one. However, being punched in the face, knocked out or choked out has proven to be beneficial in later life to a lot of people in this world. And there are absolutely situations in life when individuals need to get their backs dirty. I’m not saying that’s Jordan Bohannon…but I’m also saying what happened to him came as no surprise to me.
