Jackson Stratton SHOULD start next week. Hat Tip to Shaggy & Tim Lester. KF: "He's the leader of the group right now."

I have a feeling that Kirk would point out to folks what happened this year as to why he doesn’t want a “running QB”…he probably has some experiences that lead him to this belief, too.
This is some merit to the “running QBs and dogs that chase cars” analogy.
There is a difference between running and being mobile. QB doesn't have to be a running back but it was nice for a minute to have one that didn't stand there waiting to be sacked.

Has that Ricky Stanzi vibe to him...

That's why with sports, I always go in with the expectation that we might lose.

Just look at all of the upsets yesterday. Alabama, as just one example, will not be in the CFP.

Absolutely Fran!!! 50 billion %…. I’m super pissed about losing four games and we’re not even done…

But only an unaware psychopath doesn’t see how 98% of every Coach has the same issues we already have.

I mean, honestly we need to play better, we need to tackle better, we need to cover better, we need to catch balls, etc. etc. I’m not sure when exactly the players quit being accountable for losing football games but that’s where we’re at 🤷‍♂️

Yes quite odd, and several of the mistakes have been by our veteran safeties
True, but the DB's must work together as a unit and we've had a mess at that left CB spot all year. Seems to be alot of confusion handing off WR's running through their zones. Lee seems to be progressing, and Hall did make a great play staying inside the WR for that nice interception yesterday. That was a big play in the game.

Yes

I like the vibe of both Sully & Shaggy.....they both can sling it with accuracy
I think we have the beginning of the Lester era in QBs with these two. I can't wait to see what they look like after a full spring of practice. If Marco returns or we pick up a transfer QB the young QBs coming in will have no pressure on them and can develop and learn from Lester and the guys ahead of them.

Here's what the QB room might look like next season:

Obviously he's one of the worst in the business at making that decision.
Are you a paid troll to defend his decisions?
You can not think that Kirk is good at evaluating quarterbacks?

I see no reason to make the leap that you have that he's bad at it
Why does this have to be mutually exclusive? We DON'T know what Kirk and co are seeing when they've been recruiting QBs the last 5+ years...At the same time, our turnover and lack of production at the QB position makes it undeniable that they've not been good at it either.
I don't think KF has lost the team.

And KF is right; winning is not easy.

I freely admit that with all the rumors coming out of Fort Kinnick last week that for the first time I was wondering if perhaps Kirk was losing the team a bit. Based on yesterday I was clearly wrong in that regard.

It was pretty clear in the postgame interviews, too.
