But, Jackson = horrifically bad and seemingly declining punt returner.

With that being such an important part of our field-position-above-all-else philosophy, it needs to get straightened out expeditiously if we are to return to winning that all-important battle within the game.

Whether it's try someone else, or coach him up at an accelerated pace, something's gotta give there or we're going to be working with long fields repeatedly over the next five games.

Jackson at punt returner is actually impossible to defend at this point. Other things impossible to defend:
1) Wadley in short yardage
2) Not trying to get some deep jump balls to Smith
3) Stretch runs on first down
4) Iowa's defensive strategy on 3rd down and more than 4

And for the record, Ol' Doodle fully and freely acknowledges the second coming of Tim Dwight or Desmond King is not on the roster. But at this point, Doodle would GLEEFULLY settle for the second coming of Ed Hinkel or even Riley McCarron.
