Yes, LeGrand did a nice job as a back up. Daniels, though, is the guy I really want to see snapping the ball. Rarely can I recall a center pulling as effectively as he did on some runs in the opener. The ankle may slow him this week, and of course the coaches will sit him if it is bothering him too much in the game. The athletic (yes, I said athletic) Daniels is on track to be a great center at Iowa and could exceed his outstanding predecessor.

NDSU has some good players in the front 7 but they are also undersized at DE and their outside linebackers are smallish as well.

Bingo!! I watched the oline play over and over in the MOH game. James was very good, quick and physical. LL is a good player and might figure in at left guard next year if they of course, move Boone. JD plays at a somewhat higher level than Lucas. Awesome to have that depth.
