Luke's father wrestled at Missouri State then transferred to Mizzou when Missouri State dropped the program. Luke has worked with Sammy Henson off and on since he was a little kid and the families are very friendly with each other.
I know the family likes Iowa and have been to many dual meets over the years but there are several other schools squarely in the mix. Mizzou, ASU, ISU, Okie State, to name a few.
With Nate joining the Navy Iowa needs to make him a priority. I don't think Luke will be a career 125 as I would expect him to wrestle 133 further into his career. Great kid and family and a hell of a wrestler, let's hope the Brand's can reel him in.
