He's announcing tomorrow and deserves his own thread. What weight does he project in college?
I don’t think Taylor would have left without a pretty good feeling that Jax was his. I would like to be wrong.

There’s also a large part of me that wants the Raney bros more than Jax. I think if we get Jax and Bo that we wouldn’t get the Raneys squared.

P.s. if you can, make the votes visible in your poll. I like to see what others think.

Hopefully Bo getting on board is a train full heading to Iowa City!
A chance to wrestle in front of the biggest crowds in the country every meet..!!!

To play devil's advocate, DT doesn't have any other option but to leave, right?

Unless he's moving back and living in Jax's front yard.

(BTW I know exactly what you mean)

I would agree with you other than I think they could all 4 fit in the lineup between 133-157 in 2 or 3 years (Deluca at 125).

Changed it to be able to view results without voting. However, I can't see how to make users votes visible.

That's my hope as well. And with Olympic redshirts and such coming up again, there might be spots to fill anyway. Then Miller at 165, Gabe at 174, Angelo 184, Harvey 197, Kueter/Mocco Hwt and they'd be set up pretty well for the forseeable future.

I mean having all of them would be one hell of a problem to have. And you could be right that all of them fit into a lineup. That would be one hell of a lineup.

I’ve been an Iowa fan my whole life, it just seems like that’s too much of a good thing. Like when Iowa looked like back to back champs but Covid turned that into a technicality rather than a reality. Same deal with Spencer being a four timer or Bull finally getting over the hump.

Take it to another sport. Iowa winning the rose bowl then Christian McCaffery happened or Ronnie Harmons fumbles happened.

If there was ever a sport where to much of a good thing would be possible it would be wrestling. I’m cautiously optimistic, but the years of Iowa fandom have taught me to temper my expectations.

i don't see jax to iowa, never got the vibe he was part of bo package deal. i hope i'm wrong. this kid is to much of a stud and is kind of in bos shadow.besides he wrestles just like taylor.imo, but i am always wrong

I don’t think psu is completely out of this. Ohio State is the only school of the 4 that I would be shocked to hear. Gut says he’s a cowboy, but I have ZERO inside info.

no inside info, just my logical reasoning here

Jax probably will be 65kg for international wrestling long-term.

tOSU has Mendez

PSU has bartlet (not sure his freestyle ambitions), Van Ness (same?), Nick Lee (Is he still planning to compete?), Retherford (is he still competing?). Blaze probably eventually grows into 65kg as well.

Iowa now has Bo (I presume Jax has inside info where Bo plans to go long-term, I'm not sure he will get big enough for 74 kg)

OKST not sure who they have at 65 kg.

Oklahoma st has good practice partners around the weight, but he doesn't;t have to practice against people he would be competing with for the spot.
Oklahoma St was rumored to be a favorite of his before DT
He obviously has a DT connection

I would love to be wrong here. but I think he goes to Oklahoma St

I felt so confident with Bo, that I voted early. This one I just can't and I don't want to jinx it. But, I do like McMullen's post on X. I will stay cautiously optmistic just because of that post!
