I mean you are absolutely correct, he was a top 5 coach and won 2 championships at a very tough place to do it at. However, I think he got out because of NIL and other reasons which I'm not so sure of. Unfortunately he's an East coast guy, don't think he would do it but man, if he still has an itch and wants to get back in of course I would think he's by far the number 1 guy around. We can all dream!

I believe they hired his top assistant for the Nova job and that didn't go well this year. I think they were around .500. I don't follow Villanova, so I don't know if they had injuries or anything like that to affect their season. Hiring a head coach is kind of a crap shoot anyway though.
