It was the first episode of the Joe Flo and Bader show, and they had Cox on to interview him. At some point in the show towards the 40ish minute mark, or even a bit earlier, they started talking about recruiting. Cox gave his thoughts on early verbals and said there should be a new rule put in place that in order to kids to make a verbal or sign they have to take a minimum of 3 out of their 5 official visits. He said if kids saw more opportunities before they got woo'ed for the first time there might be less transfers, decommitments, and such.

Also was asked if he had to go back through it again who would he visit other than the obvious mizzou and no nebraska because his mom wouldn't allow it lol. Said he would've went to ISU and was considering Iowa actually during his real recruitment process but heard that Iowa didn't offer full rides to recruits and he needed a full ride at that time due to family issues. Also mentioned how getting a hand written note from coach Smith at Mizzou was a real big deal to him as a high school kid showing the coach cared about him as a person.

As always J'den is a great interview and a stand up human being. Some other talk of his singing and music side. As well as a song he recently wrote and will be performing.

Whatever happened to him playing football?
He mentions that in the interview, still a possibility next season. Although nothing is set in stone, he sounded pretty excited about the potential opportunity to play football. Said it's an opportunity he'll only have this once for football and may never have again so he wants to take it. Says he will for sure return to wrestling, he likens wrestling to riding a bike.
